NJ Odyssey of the Mind Officials are required to attend a day of training. This training helps new officials understand the Odyssey of the Mind program as well as veteran officials understand this year's problems.

If you are not affiliated with a team but would like to volunteer as an official for the NJ OotM program, please contact the for more information.

Note on tournament attendance: An official affiliated with a team must work the regional tournament in which his/her team competes. If you are a team-affiliated official, please make sure that you have confirmed with the coach of your team the regional tournament you are to attend. In order to fulfill the team's volunteer requirement, an affiliated official must report on time for his/her assignment and must stay for the duration of his/her assignment. Any team-affiliated officials arriving late or leaving early will incur a penalty for the teams they represent.
